| About Alicia |
| Alicia grew up in a family of artists, surrounded by photography, painting, sculpture and stained glass. In college she studied photography and wilderness preservation. After graduating with degrees in both Environmental Studies and Anthropology, she went on to teach children about nature at various outdoor schools. When she decided to open her photography business in 2004, she received additional formal photographic training at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography. Alicia's pack currently includes three chickens (Poofy, Penelope and Pretty), a mutt named Maya from the Oregon Humane Society, a black cat named Roscoe Popcorn Coltrane from OHS, a tortoise-shell cat named Noel Eve Kaleidoscope from the Cat Adoption Team and a husband named Steve. Alicia's fine art pet portraits are simple and inspired, capturing the spirit of an animal and the real connection between a person and their animal. Her photos are original (she will never photograph puppies in a basket!). The studio motto is: "Your Best Friend...Forever." Gorgeous photographic wall art is created for you to cherish forever. With top-of-the-line photography equipment, a full boutique studio in NE Portland and great pet-handling skills, your photos will sparkle with the unique personality of your four-legged friend.
